The Olive Garden Restaurant chain will open its fifth outlet in Utah on Monday, May 17, in the American Plaza 1, 200 South West Temple, according to Jerry Turner, general manager.

Featuring southern and northern Italian cuisine, the Olive Garden has outlets in Layton, Sugar House, Murray and Provo. The hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.The Olive Garden is noted for its garlic breadsticks, classic Italian salad, lasagna, manicotti, chicken parmigiana, ravioli, scampi, veal piccata, chicken marsala, steak Tuscany, tortelloni and fettucine Alfredo.
