Are Charles Barkley and Anthony Kiedis rivals for Madonna's affections? There have been all sorts of rumors about the Material Girl and Sir Charles ever since they were spotted together at a restaurant.
Both the pop star and the basketball star have denied any romantic involvement, but now Kiedis, lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and a Madonna pal, says he's had some unpleasant dealings with the Phoenix Sun."Barkley's been leaving (nasty) messages on my machine," Kiedis complained to Entertainment Weekly. "(Barkley) showed up at my house at 5 in the morning and he was screaming. Ask him." The magazine tried, but said Barkley's agent didn't return phone calls.
As for Madonna, her spokeswoman scoffed at the romantic triangle theory: "The whole thing is a figment of the media's imagination."
