Criminal charges against Cincinnati Reds outfielder Deion Sanders will be upgraded to a felony, Cincinnati TV station WXIX reported.

WXIX said that Sanders would be charged with fleeing and eluding police, a fourth-degree felony. He was arrested after driving his motorcycle through a restricted gate following a game Aug. 8.
