Garrett Ross, age 23, of West Jordan, UT, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2001.
Garrett was born July 04, 1977 in Anchorage, AK to Gary and Dawn Ross. He grew up in Alaska and Salt Lake City. He loved to fish and play football. His love of sports led him to be a great West Little League Ute Conference Football Coach. He was a graduate of Horizonte in Salt Lake City, UT and Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. He was employed by Alpha Transport Inc. in Salt Lake City.
Survivors include his mother Dawn, stepfather Michael Norton and brother Dale of West Jordan; father Gary, stepmother Becky, stepbrother and sister, Traeger and Kristin Anderson of Anchorage, AK; grandparents Don and Jackie Armstrong of Thayne, WY; George and Lola Dean Ross of Stilwell, OK; special friend and companion Becky Benavidez; uncles, Scott Armstrong of Greensboro, NC; Larry Ross of Stilwell, OK, David Ross and wife Mari of Houston, TX; aunt, Jana Dean Hudgins and husband Donivan of Siloam Springs, AR; cousins, Gralon, Hollan and Donivan Hudgins, Brittany, Chelsea and Nicole Ross, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 19, 2001 at 2 p.m. at the Christ United Methodist Church, 2375 East 3300 South, where friends may visit with the family from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Mortuary.
