97-Years-Young
Eva Carlson Niederhauser returned to her Heavenly Father July 3, 2004, after a full life of 97 years.
She was born November 23, 1906, in Salem, Utah to Phoebe Jane Davis and Gustaf Theodore Carlson. She was the second child of four children; one sister and two brothers.
She graduated from Spanish Fork High School and later moved to Salt Lake to gain employment. She married Ernest Niederhauser March 20, 1929, in the Salt Lake Temple. He died January 20, 1981. She was a member of the Murray 24th Ward.
She was a wonderful mother, homemaker and friend to all. She had a great sense of humor and her greatest love in life was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will truly be missed.
Survived by children Elaine Niederhauser of Murray Utah; Jay Niederhauser (Sandy) of Midway, Utah; Reed Niederhauser (Diane) of Chesterfield, Missouri; Linda Carter (Dave-deceased) of Murray, Utah. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Theodore and LeGrand, sister Pearl, son-in-law David Carter and grandsons, Mark Neiderhauser and Scott Carter.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Jennifer and Dr. Chris Romney, Judy Heaps and her staff at Highland Cove Care Center who showed their love and concern as they cared for her.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday July 8, 2004, at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary (4760 So. State Street, Murray) at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary. Interment will follow the services at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
