Bruce J. Wright 1940 ~ 2005 Bruce John Wright passed away suddenly Thurs., March 3, in Sandy UT. He was born August 26, 1940 to Eugene and Lila Wright in Salt Lake City, Utah, the youngest of three brothers. He graduated from Box Elder High School in 1958. He served a successful mission for his church in Helsinki, Finland in 1960. He returned there in 1964 to marry Maria Andrejev, his life's companion and best friend. They moved to Salt Lake City where he finished his BA and MBA at the University of Utah in 1967. After working in executive positions with various companies, he truly found his vocation when he started public speaking and consulting for his own company, B. Wright and Associates. Lecturing and training, he formed many close working relationships and was known on every continent. Culling awards too numerous to mention, Bruce loved calling the world 'his back yard'. Home was still where he found the most joy, among his family and a few close friends. Along with his wife, he dedicated his time to his children and grandchildren as the beloved head of the family. He loved and collected music from around the world, and enjoyed Broadway plays and musicals. He loved sharing this experience with his family. When he wasn't busy being the life of the party, he set the stage so those around him could feel special. Always ready to lend a hand or a dollar Bruce embodied generosity. During his life he held many Church callings and enjoyed devoting his time to other people. He was survived by his wife Maria; sons Mark (Stephanie) and Michael (Shannon); grandchildren Alexander, James, Andrew, Johnathan, Katherine, and Benjamin; and brother David (Sherrill) and his nieces and nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Eugene (Ann) and infant sister Lela Ann. A viewing will be held at Larkin Mortuary (1950 E. 10600 S. Sandy Utah) from 6-8 p.m. Sun. March 6th. Funeral services will be held at the same location March 7th at 11 a.m.
