Richard Bywater "Dick" Richard L. (Dick) Bywater, 87, passed away June 22, 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born July 7, 1918, in Salt Lake City to Edward R. and Anne Lucas Bywater. He married Lois Watson Feb. 27, 1948. They were later divorced. He attended East High School, the University of Utah, and Woodbury Business College in Los Angeles, California. With the help of their step-father, H.E. Sargeant, he and his brothers, Edward (Ted) and William (Bill), owned and operated Bostitch Intermountain Company. He retired in 1979. He loved golf, fishing and dollar slot machines. He is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Kris and Don Bell and Debi and Mike Cracroft; two granddaughters, Abbie Bell Carter-Smith and Rebecca (Becky) Bell Stiehl; two sister-in-laws, Dorothy Bywater and Rosalie Bywater; and a nephew, Tim Bywater. At his request, there will be no formal services. His remains will be buried at Mt. Olivet cemetery, near his mother and brothers who preceded him in death. Funeral directors Evans & Early.
