Obituary: WEBB, STEVEN JETTIE

Steven Jettie Webb Sept. 16, 1945 ~ Dec. 8, 2011Steve, husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully in his home, Dec. 8, 2011. He was born in Salt Lake City to Ronald D. and Margaret J. Webb. He married the love of his life Roberta (Bobbie) Hansen on July 29, 1965. He loved writing letters, being with his kids, playing with his grandchildren and Saturdays on the basketball court. Upon graduating from West High, Steve became a welder. He later changed careers becoming a driver for UTA. He retired after 23 years, receiving his badge for driving a Million Miles accident free.He is survived by his wife, Bobbie; children: Jeffery Steven Webb, Pamela (John) Anderson, and Jason (Rita) Webb. The light of his life four grandchildren: Ashley (Brian) Van Beekum, Haley Anderson, John Steven Anderson and Alexis Webb; brother, Stan (JoLyn) Webb; sisters, Norma Kirk, Donna Callaway, Patricia (Jay) Bush. His best friend, high school singing partner and lifetime basketball buddy Jim Bruner. He is preceded in death by his parents and oldest sister LaVonne Williford. In honoring Steve's request there was no service.
