When 4-year-old Abby Sayles asked her favorite nurse to marry her, instead of laughing, he started planning.
The nurse, Matt Hickling, and his co-workers planned a wedding ceremony to lift the spirits of the girl, who is being treated for leukemia at the Melodies Center at Albany Medical Center in New York, according to CBS News.
"This day will hopefully be one our patient and her family can always look back on and smile when days are tough!" Hickling wrote on his personal Facebook page. "I know I will!"
A video of the wedding that was posted to Facebook on July 16 has been viewed more than 24 million times.
