Pete’s dragon has said goodbye to his pink hair.

A YouTube video released Sunday gives viewers a first look at the upcoming Disney remake of “Pete’s Dragon.”

In the 1977 version of the film, Pete’s dragon was a giant green cartoon dragon with pink hair and wings. In the new trailer, viewers get a glimpse at the dragon used in the new film, which, according to Yahoo Movies, is a CGI dragon.

“Pete’s Dragon” tells the story of an orphaned boy, Pete. Pete’s best friend is a dragon named Elliot, who may or may not be imaginary.

The cast for the remake includes Oakes Fegley, Oona Laurence, Robert Redford, Bryce Dallas Howard, Wes Bentley and Karl Urban.

“Pete’s Dragon” is coming to theaters on Aug. 12.
