Stanford sophomore Tiger Woods, golfs hottest young future star, crashed Riverside Country Club and put on a show as he won the Cougar Classic after entering the final round trailing by two strokes.

The two-time U.S. Amateur champions legend was already growing as one onlooker reportedly said, "You should have seen one of his tee shots ... He must have hit it 700 yards and that was into a 100-mile per hour wind."

BYU finished in a disappointing fourth, 19 shots back of first-place Stanford.
