What’s going on?
The official trailer for “Chaos Walking: The Knife of Never Letting Go” dropped Thursday, giving us our first glimpse at the film starring Ridley and Holland.
- The film takes place in a near future dystopia where all women have died and men are the only survivors. But men receive a new power called the Noise, where they can hear other people’s thoughts.
- One day, a woman named Violet (Ridley) crashes on the planet and finds Todd (Holland), who wants to protect her.
- So begins their journey.
“Chaos Walking” will debut Jan. 22, 2021. It’s slated for a theatrical release.
- The film was originally set to launch on March 1, 2019, according to Variety. But the film underwent reshoots that pushed it back until 2021. So the film was mostly filmed ahead of the pandemic.
